Biodiesel Plant Proposed for New Hampshire

SALEM, N.H. --- A commercial biodiesel plant, which would use local crops for production, has been proposed for Salem, N.H. The Salem Planning Board will consider the project tomorrow. The proposal was submitted by Dan Espinal and Tim Hickey, according to the Eagle-Tribune newspaper. The state House last week passed a bill to establish a commission to encourage biodiesel production in the state. The commission includes legislators, state officials, energy regulators and business leaders.
