Safeway Opens B20 Biodiesel Station

SEATTLE --- Retail giant Safeway has opened a fueling station selling biodiesel in Seattle as part of an effort to test market demand for alternative fuels. Safeway is selling SoyPOWER brand biodiesel, produced by Renewable Energy Group. The fuel is a blend of 20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent petroleum diesel, according to a report from eTrucker.
