Bush to Meet With Auto Industry Leaders This Month to Discuss Alt-Fuel Use

DETROIT --- President Bush is expected to meet later this month with top executives from the Big Three automakers to discuss flexible and alternative fuel use. The Wall Street Journal reported that the meeting will take place at the White House, though no specific date has been set yet. A representative from DaimlerChrysler told the newspaper that the talks will likely focus on alternatives to gasoline and diesel fuel, such as ethanol and biodiesel.
