BofA Expands Hybrid-Vehicle Reimbursements

February 05, 2007

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Bank of America Corp. is expanding its reimbursement program for employees who purchase a new hybrid automobile, according to the Charlotte Business Journal. The Charlotte-based bank will reimburse $3,000 to about 185,000 workers. All U.S.-based full-time and part-time employees who work at least 20 hours a week are eligible. BofA launched the program in June to employees living within 90 miles of Boston, Charlotte, and Los Angeles. The company will evaluate the expanded program and may offer it to employees internationally at a future date.
