MILWAUKEE --- North American Biodiesel LLC plans to build a $1.3 million, 14,000-square-foot biodiesel production facility in Butler, Wis. According to a report in Small Business Times, North American Biodiesel was formed a year ago. The planned facility will have an initial capacity of 5 million gallons but will eventually expand that to 35 million gallons. Soybean and other virgin oils will be used to produce the fuel. Evergreen Fuel Stops will operate a fueling station on the property adjacent to the production plant. The area's largest user of biodiesel now is the city of Milwaukee, which uses the fuel for its municipal truck fleet.
