Biodiesel Plant Planned for Butler, Wis.

MILWAUKEE --- North American Biodiesel LLC plans to build a $1.3 million, 14,000-square-foot biodiesel production facility in Butler, Wis.According to a report in Small Business Times, North American Biodiesel was formed a year ago. The planned facility will have an initial capacity of 5 million gallons but will eventually expand that to 35 million gallons. Soybean and other virgin oils will be used to produce the fuel. Evergreen Fuel Stops will operate a fueling station on the property adjacent to the production plant.The area's largest user of biodiesel now is the city of Milwaukee, which uses the fuel for its municipal truck fleet.
