Safety-Kleen Adds 27 Trucks to Fleet With Acquisition of Midwest Disposal Company

PLANO, TEXAS – Safety-Kleen has purchased Jacobus, a used oil, oil filters, and antifreeze disposal company based in Madison, Wis. The deal includes the acquisition of seven oil-collection facilities owned or leased by Jacobus in Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming, as well as a fleet of 27 oil collection trucks, according to the Dallas Business Journal. Prior to its acquisition, Jacobus provided collection services to about 16,000 customers in the seven-state area.
