Wright Express Reports Third-Quarter Financial Results

SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE – Wright Express Corp., a provider of payment processing and information management services to the U.S. commercial and government fleet industry, reported preliminary selected financial results for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2006.Total revenue for the third quarter of 2006 increased 18 percent to $79.7 million from $67.4 million for the third quarter of 2005. Net income to common shareholders on a GAAP basis for the third quarter of 2006 was $34.4 million, or $0.83 per diluted share, compared with a loss of $6.2 million, or $0.15 per share, for the comparable quarter last year. On a non-GAAP basis, the company’s adjusted net income for third quarter 2006 increased 19 percent to $16.0 million, or $0.39 per diluted share, from $13.4 million, or $0.33 per diluted share, for the year-earlier period.
