October 10, 2006

KIRKLAND, WA – Kenworth Truck Co. will extend a truck purchase rebate program with the Consolidated Buying Company (CBC) and its petroleum hauler members through 2007. The program offers rebates to CBC members on qualifying purchases of new Kenworth trucks ordered through their Kenworth dealer or bought from Kenworth dealer stock. Rebates are $1,250 for orders of three or more Kenworth Class 8 units, $1,000 for one or two Kenworth Class 8 units, and $500 for a Kenworth Class 7 unit. Limit for a single customer is 10 trucks per year. The purchaser must identify CBC membership to the Kenworth dealer at the time of truck purchase. Kenworth will pay the first-year CBC membership fee for any qualifying petroleum hauler that wishes to participate in the rebate program but is not currently a CBC member. Other limitations apply on the Kenworth rebate program.
