City of Napa Adds Hybrids to Municipal Fleet

October 13, 2005

NAPA, CA — Four hybrid, gas-electric cars are joining NAPA’s municipal fleet, replacing less-efficient vehicles that had reached the end of their useful life, according to the Napa Valley Register. Napa is adding two Honda Civics and two Ford Escapes. The city will monitor the fuel savings of these vehicles to see if future purchases should also be hybrids.
