Wright Express Hosts 7th CoBrand Conference

September 01, 2004

SOUTH PORTLAND, ME – Wright Express CoBrand partners met in Portland last summer to share information related to current market trends in the fleet card industry. Co-Brand partners are leasing companies and service providers that want to offer value-added commercial service features to existing customers. The conference, attended by 10 of Wright Express' CoBrand partners, provided an interactive forum for discussing issues facing the industry. Attendees heard Von Friesen of Strategic Energy Resources discuss “Price Risk Management” in today's marketplace and participated in a fraud panel consisting of experts from Wright Express who discussed preventive methods for minimizing exposure to commercial card fraud. Also provided were technology updates outlining the new Wright Express technical platform and authorization specs being adopted in the marketplace. Web integration was also addressed to help the partners adopt WEXOnline functionality through their own Web sites. “Product Updates” included information on heavy truck and electronic invoice payment process (EIPP) through WEXOnline.
