Quick Fuel Buys Fueling Stations in MO, IA, and FL

MILWAUKEE - Jacobus Energy, Inc.'s Quick Fuel Fleet Services subsidiary has acquired operations in Missouri, Iowa, and Florida.Quick Fuels bought the Solar Fuels mobile refueling business, a Kansas City-based fleet fueling company. In a separate deal, Quick Fuel purchased an automated fueling station, a bulk plant, and an officewarehouse facility in Fort Myers, Fla., from Fuelman of South Florida. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. The Solar Fuels deal includes six trucks and operations in Kansas City, Mo., and Des Moines, Iowa. Solar provides overnight refueling to fleet operators. Quick Fuel Fleet Services now operates 51 automated fleet fueling stations in the Midwest and South and runs 120 mobile refueling trucks.
