July 18, 2002

The Lundberg survey of gasoline prices across the country showed almost no change in the price of gasoline over the last three weeks. The survey showed the average price, including all gasoline grades and taxes, was $1.44 per gallon on Friday, July 12-down 0.1 cent from June 21. The national weighted average price for regular gas was about $1.41 per gallon. The Associated Press reported that the current price for gas remains roughly 6 cents lower than at this time last year.
