Fuel Tax Increase Expected in Kansas

Gov. Bill Graves is “likely to sign” a bill that would raise the fuel tax in Kansas by 2 cents a gallon, according to the American Trucking Associations. The bill, which would raise the diesel fuel tax to 25 cents per gallon starting July 1, is projected to raise $338 million over the next seven years to go toward road projects.
