Electric cab service start-up Lithium is planning to expand its services in Bengaluru, India. The company started the service in June with a fleet of 30 cars and is now looking to increase it to 100, according to a report by the New Indian Express.

Owing to limited infrastructure for recharging electric cars, the company has been providing its services only to the corporate sector. Currently, Lithium is ferrying 1,000 employees of various firms across the city.

Lithium founder Sanjay Krishnan said the company is in talks to expand its customer base and 10-15 firms have recently contacted Lithium, according to the report.

Expansion has been slowed, however, by the lack of necessary infrastructure, according to the report.
