Fleet FAQ? Fleet Management & Leasing

Q. How can I stop my drivers from idling?

April 10, 2018, by - Also by this author

A. Most telematics software can track excessive idling, as well as a number of other potentially costly and even dangerous driver behaviors. Real-time telematics data and driver alerts provides immediate feedback, warning the driver that idling time has surpassed a pre-set limit. Additionally, this information is captured on a driver scorecard, and managers can even get direct alerts when a driver has surpassed the allotted time. While this information is useful, in order to create lasting change an organization needs to set and stick to clearly stated goals.
