2012 Conference of Automotive Remarketing

The IARA opening breakfast was standing-room only for the keynote address by Manheim President Sandy Schwartz.

The annual Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR), held in conjunction with the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA), attracted 694 attendees.The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) held its winter roundtable prior to CAR with a theme focused on the future of remarketing. 2013-MY Nissan Altima

Nissan estimates the 2013-MY Altima will achieve a combined mpg of 31.

The latest edition of Nissan's Altima sedan will go on sale in July, 2012, at a starting MSRP of $21,500. The automaker plans to offer the 2013-MY Altima in four 2.5L engine equipped models (2.5, 2.5 S, 2.5 SV, and 2.5 SL), and three 3.5L V-6 equipped models (3.5 S, 3.5 SV, and 3.5 SL). 2013 GMC Acadia

General Motors unveiled its new 2013-MY GMC Acadia, and Acadia Denali, at the Chicago Auto Show. The Acadia features a redesigned exterior, GM's first front-center airbag, and a number of infotainment features. Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo Van

Nissan said it modified the U.S. version of the vehicle to make it somewhat larger, increasing its length by 7.9 inches over the NV200 models offered globally.

At the 2012 Chicago Auto Show, Nissan unveiled its new NV200 Compact Cargo Van, which the automaker said is designed for customers who want a smaller van for business use. The photos in this gallery show the van's exterior and interior, along with some of the features Nissan is offering for the two van models (S and SV).

2013 Cadillac ATS

General Motors Cadillac brand introduced its new Cadillac ATS, its new luxury sports sedan, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. GM said Cadillac engineers used a new lightweight vehicle architecture for the four-door sedan, and that it goes on sale summer of 2012. GM is manufacturing the vehicle at its Lansing Grand River Assembly plant in Lansing, Mich. The following gallery shows photos of the vehicle and the reveal at the auto show.

Nissan e-NV200 Concept Van

Nissan said the e-NV200 Concept van is a "near production" model.

Nissan showed a new electric van concept, designed primarily for commercial fleets, the e-NV200 Concept, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

2013 Dodge Dart

The 2013-MY Dodge Dart will come with three powertrain options, a 160 horsepower Tigershark 16-valve 2.0L engine, a 160 horsepower 16-valve 1.4L MultiAir Intercooled Turbo engine, and a new 184 horsepower Tigershark 16-valve 2.4L MultiAir 2 four-cylinder engine.

Chrysler unveiled its 2013-MY Dodge Dart compact sedan at the Detroit Auto Show. Built on the Fiat Group-based Compact U.S. Wide (CUS-wide) architecture, the vehicle will be available in in five trim levels: SE, SXT, Rallye, Limited, and R/T.
