A countywide software limitation has prevented commercial fleet managers from registering their vehicles in Jefferson County, Ala., reports AL.com.
The problem stems from the county commision's decision a year ago to agree to install a Tuscaloosa County software system in its revenue department for $1. Apparently, the software system included a limitation that prevented online commercial fleet registrations.
The problem became worse, when the phone line for renewals went down.
