MARYSVILLE, OH - After working outside of fleet for three years, Scott Mayo has stepped back into the arena as the fleet manager for Scotts Miracle-Gro Company in Marysville, Ohio.

Mayo took over as fleet manager in mid-November 2011. The 2,400 vehicle fleet is made up of cars, light-duty and medium-duty trucks. The company provides consumer products for lawn and garden care and for professional horticulture.
Mayo, who began in fleet in 1984, spent much of his career managing Wendy's International's vehicles. After leaving Wendy's in 2006, he worked briefly as vice president of business development for Flexco Fleet Services and in the fleet and commercial sales department at Jack Maxton Chevrolet in Columbus, Ohio. For the last three years, he ran his own Internet retail business.
Mayo was recognized for his work in the industry when he was named Automotive Fleet's 2006 Fleet Manager of the Year.
