ATLANTA - Cox Enterprises has restructured its fleet operations in the Cox Communications division to include the creation of four fleet management regions. The restructuring has led to the promotion of four managers to the role of regional fleet director.

"This restructuring enabled the consolidation of fleet management in our Cox Communications fleet of 9,000 vehicles," said Mark Leuenberger, director of fleet operations for Cox Enterprises.  "This will allow Cox to better implement standardization as well as other efficiency focused programs."

The new promotions are as follows:

South East Region: Margret Huval. Based in Baton Rouge, La., Huval is responsible for the division's systems in Louisiana, Florida, and Georgia. Her fleet team manages 1,400 vehicles in the region. Prior to joining Cox, Huval was fleet manager for PoolCorp for 10 years. In this region, Cox serves more than 500,000 customers with voice, video and data products in the 17 parishes of Acadia, Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberia, Iberville, Jefferson, Lafayette, Livingston, Orleans, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. Martin, St. Mary, Vermilion, and West Baton Rouge.

North East Region: Jeff Hilton. Based in New England, Hilton is responsible for the division's systems in New England, Virginia, and Ohio.

Central Region: Jeffery Gatten. Based in Oklahoma, Gatten is responsible for the division's systems in Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, and Idaho.

Western Region: Bud Stewart. Based in San Diego, Stewart is responsible for the division's systems in California, Arizona, and Nevada.
