CENTREVILLE, VA --- Subaru and Carfax have partnered to offer the Carfax Service Link program to all Subaru dealers.
Service and maintenance information for vehicles serviced by participating Subaru dealers will be reported to Carfax and appear on Carfax Vehicle History Reports.
"When we deliver a car to a customer we like to show a Carfax Vehicle History Report with service records from our dealership on the report," said Pat Kenny, used car manager at Huffines Subaru in Lewisville, Texas. "By doing so, this helps to ensure customers bring their cars back to our dealership for service to keep more value in their vehicles. Having service information on the Carfax Report also helps us better evaluate vehicles and price them more accurately."
Carfax Service Link is a free feature that puts a participating dealership's name on the Carfax Report of each vehicle they service. Dealership contact information and a Web site link appears alongside each service record to help dealers retain these vehicles in their service cycle. More than 5,400 dealerships report their service information to Carfax through the Carfax Service Link program.
