Wheels Inc. Adds MasterCard to Puerto Rico Fuel Program

DES PLAINES, IL – Wheels Inc. has announced a new feature of its comprehensive Fuel Management Program in Puerto Rico: the Wheels MasterCard fuel card. This fuel payment solution is a result of research that Wheels performed to understand the unique needs of the drivers and fleet managers in this segment of its client base.
Many fleets in Puerto Rico find it challenging to offer their drivers a convenient mechanism for expensing fuel while receiving data that can be consolidated with other fleet expenses. The new Wheels fuel card delivers both, while also providing multi-level security for fraud protection and the ability for clients to set various purchase limits for program control.
Fuel transactions are displayed in FleetView, Wheels’ online fleet management tool. Clients can use that data to run standard or custom reports to monitor activity, and setup Dashboard Alerts to monitor exceptions.
"We’ve launched the card to almost all of our Puerto Rico fleets and are receiving great feedback from users,” said John Moore, senior director of Four Wheels and Puerto Rico operations. “The new Wheels fuel card effortlessly captures valuable transaction data for consolidated billing and fuel data in FleetView, and it has greatly simplified the fueling process for drivers. Drivers used to have to search for a fueling station that would accept their card, or pay out-of-pocket and keep fuel receipts to be reimbursed; our card eliminates these inconveniences.”
