Insurance Institute Pushes for Federal Reform of Vehicle Bumper Regulations

ARLINGTON, VA — The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has petitioned the federal government to regulate the bumpers on light trucks (SUVs, pickups, and vans) just as it regulates those on cars.
