U.S. Report Examines Shift to Renewable Fuels

WASHINGTON, D.C. --- A new report from the U.S. federal government projects that national energy consumption will grow by 14 percent between 2008 and 2035, as the fossil fuel share of total U.S. energy use falls from 84 percent to 78 percent.

Study: Biofuels Reduce GHGs by 123.5M Tons

TORONTO --- A new study concludes that world biofuels production in 2009 has reduced global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 123.5 million tons, representing an average reduction of 57 percent compared to the emissions that would have occurred from the production and use of equal quantities of petroleum fuels.
