Daimler Recalls Trucks With Detroit Diesel Engines

WASHINGTON, D.C. --- Daimler Trucks North America is recalling more than 1,600 MY 2009-2010 Freightliner and Sterling trucks equipped with Detroit Diesel DD13 EPA07 engines manufactured with grid heaters.

Daimler Recalls More than 8,800 Heavy Duty Trucks

WASHINGTON, D.C. --- Daimler Trucks North America is recalling certain MY 2005-2010 heavy duty trucks because the left-hand inner tie rod end runs the risk of loosening over time and potentially separating from the steering rack.

Daimler Trucks to Offer Natural Gas Engine Options

VANCOUVER, B.C., Canada --- Cummins Westport Inc. (CWI), a provider of alternative fuel engines, said that Daimler Trucks North America will offer the ISL G Natural Gas (NG) engine in the Freightliner Business Class M2 112 truck in six LNG and CNG tractor/truck configurations.

California Cartage Co., L.A. Area Ports Get 232 New Natural Gas Trucks

LOS ANGELES --– Daimler Trucks North America on Dec. 8 held events celebrating delivery of 132 new natural gas (NG)-fueled tractors to drivers who contract with California Cartage Co. and 100 new NG trucks for the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles' Clean Truck Program.
