BMW Performance Goes Online: 1-Series and 3-Series Get First Upgrades

MUNICH, GERMANY – BMW has released a video on its Web site promoting its new ‘BMW Performance’ range of accessories, which is designed to allow customers to purchase factory-backed performance and aesthetic upgrades for their cars.

BMW Plans More Niche Vehicles

MUNICH, GERMANY – BMW plans to develop more niche models to offset falling sales in its traditional segments. After the X6 crossover launched this year and the Progressive Activity Sedan, due in 2009, BMW expects to produce a derivative of the next 3 series.

BMW Recalls 150,000 Vehicles for Airbag Sensor Fix

FRANKFURT, GERMANY – BMW will recall around 150,000 vehicles in North America to fix a possible defect that may keep the front passenger airbag from opening in a crash.

MIAMI – LeaseTrader.com, a car lease transfer company, announced its monthly Index for December, with the BMW 3 Series topping the list of America’s most preferred leased vehicle for the third straight month.
