Emkay Announces 2007 National Auction of the Year
ITASCA, IL – Emkay, Inc. announced its 2007 Auction Award Winners at the 2008 Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR).
ITASCA, IL – Emkay, Inc., a nationwide full-service fleet leasing and management company, announced its 2007 Auction Award Winners at the 2008 Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR). Emkay uses a combination of retention, days to pick up, and days to sell to select its auction performance leaders.
The Western Regional Auction of the Year was awarded to Manheim Portland. The Eastern Regional Auction of the Year was awarded to ADESA Cleveland.
For the second consecutive year, Manheim's San Antonio Auto Auction earned the Top Retention Auction of the Year Award at 108.8 percent.
However, it was Greater Kalamazoo Auto Auction (GKAA) that received Emkay's National Auction of the Year. In 2007, GKAA consistently outperformed the competition and provided the company the highest levels in all three indicator areas.
Tom Wright, sales and marketing manager from Greater Kalamazoo Auto Auction, stated, "It is very gratifying for Greater Kalamazoo Auto Auction to receive such an impressive national award from our partner in business, Emkay. Each and every day we are aggressively pursuing our level of service and performance. Winning an award of this nature is appreciated by everyone at GKAA as we strive towards perfection."
