DES PLAINES, IL Wheels, Inc. has announced that Maintenance Assistance Program (MAP) technicians Jason Hajek and Bill Hart have been recognized as World Class technicians by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).  With the new certifications, Wheels now has four World Class MAP technicians on staff — the most of any company in the fleet management industry, according to the company.

ASE certification is a nationally accepted standard for recognizing a technician's knowledge and skills and each ASE certification must be renewed every five years. Out of more than 400,000 ASE certified professionals, just 271 technicians worldwide are currently recognized with the World Class designation. With their certifications, Hajek and Hart join Wheels MAP and Collision Response Center Specialist Joe Jarosz and Manager of MAP and Collision Customer Service Bob Clark in attaining elite World Class technician standing.

Hajek has been with Wheels for more than a decade. After stints as an advisor and senior level advisor, he is currently a technical team leader in the MAP department. With more than 14 years at Wheels, Hart is a Senior Level MAP Advisor and has achieved ASE certification in 22 areas.

"Achieving and maintaining the World Class designation is extremely challenging and requires ongoing individual commitment at the highest level," said Jeff Whiteside, director of maintenance and collision repair.  "Wheels is very proud of the dedication demonstrated by Jason Hajek and Bill Hart in order to reach the World Class level. The ASE certification program provides specific, accurate industry-recognized validation of their top-level abilities and expertise."
